Funnel Cake-Strawberry Shortcake

1 container of Shake n’ Pour Pancake Mix

1 cup Strawberries (sliced)

Whipping Cream



  • Heat oil to 375°F in a medium skillet or pan. While oil is heating prepare the funnel cake batter.

  • In a large bowl whisk together pancake mix.
  • Pour batter into a funnel or a plastic squeeze bottle with a 1/4-inch opening. When your oil is hot, carefully pour batter into your pan creating a swirly, circular patter. Be careful not to splatter the batter as the oil is very hot.
  • Fry funnel cake for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden on the bottom. Carefully turn funnel cake and fry until golden brown on second side, about 1 minute longer.
  • Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Top with fresh strawberries and cream.  Serve immediately.
