1 large Sweet Onion
1/2 cup of cooked bacon (diced)
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar w/ honey
3 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons of Balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of salted butter
- Set a Dutch oven or heavy pot over medium heat, add in olive oil, onions, and salt. and add the bacon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions turn start to turn brown. This process could take 15- 20min you’re looking for the onions to turn a very dark brown color.
- To your pan add in, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and balsamic vinegar.
- Cook until all the liquid has cooked out.
- Add in salted butter.
- Store marmalade in a glass container and place in the refrigerator. Marmalade will last for 1 week in the fridge.
