pinch of salt
2 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 heavy whipping cream
1 cup dark chocolate chunks
2 tablespoons of salted butter or butter.
1 Combine butter, sugar, and milk in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
2 In a bowl, lightly beat egg and vanilla. Add butter-sugar mixture. Whisk together until combined.
3 Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to milk-egg mixture.
4 Butter inside of rice cooker pan. Make sure to cover the entire pan so that the cake will come out easily once it’s baked.
5 Pour cake batter into rice cooker. And select your cook option (some rice cookers will automatically cut off of cook mode and switch to warm mode, if this happen wait 5-to-10min and select the cook mode again, you may have to do this a couple of times). Cook for 1 hour and 15minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Set aside to cool.
6 That chocolate ganache tho: Let’s get it! Add chocolate chunks to glass bowl (you should have a glass bowl over hot water, double boiler) stir until chocolate has melted, add in room temp heavy whipping cream and stir. Once complete combined add in 2 tables of butter.
7 Cool ganache for 5 min and then pour over cake, making sure to glaze all sides. Let stand at room temperature to set.
